Sacred Space Prayer
To the winds of the South
Mother of the Waters Great Serpent
Wrap your coils of light around us
First Healer First Shedding
You who break the skin of who we have been
you who teach us to leave the past in the dust of our own becoming
Breath of Life moving through blood and root
you who dive where no light reaches
who know the deep ways the hidden ways the inner ways
You who move belly to Earth who remember the path back to the Sacred Garden the place before the wound before forgetting
We call you
We feel you moving
Shed us clean
Show us your peaceful beauty ways
Aho. Blessed Be.
To the winds of the West
Mother Sister Jaguar
Night walker shadow seer bridge crosser
You who walk the rainbow path into the great mystery
You who swallow the dying sun without fear
teaching us to die before we die
to walk through terror with open eyes
Green fire of the jungle
luminous one who devours illusion
You who carry life and death in the same breath who walk with no enemy who answer to no fear
We call you
Come stalk our medicine space
Walk with us through the dark
Teach us to walk softly in grace and impeccability
Aho. Blessed Be.
To the winds of the North Apus Ancient Ones Old Ones Bone Keepers all who have come before us and all who will come after us.
Grandmothers Grandfathers beyond time You who have walked the sacred path
and now sit at the sacred fire of great remembering
You who slip through the veil to whisper the old ways back into our bones And Hummingbird
small fierce heart drinker of nectar
you who cross impossible distances
who do what cannot be done who move by devotion alone
We call you
Remember us into ourselves
Aho. Blessed Be.
To the winds of the East
Great Eagle Great Condor
Winged Ones of the rising light
You who carry vision across the sky
who see what we have forgotten to see
You who open the eye of the heart
who lift us beyond the small self
You who push us from the edge
from the nest from the known
so we may fall
so we may fly wing tip to wing tip with great spirit
so we may remember the sky as our home
We call you
Lift our sight Open our wings
Aho. Blessed Be.
To the Great Mother and all our relations
Pachamama Earth beneath all things
We press our bodies to you
We thank you
We remember
To the stone people
the plant people
the two-legged the four-legged
The furred the winged ones the crawlers
the seen and the unseen
all our relations
We come in humility and honor you
We come in gratitude
We come in love
Aho. Blessed Be.
To Father Sky Grandmother Moon
Great star Nations without number
Breath of wind great mystery
all that is known and unknowable
the spoken the unspoken
the heard the unheard
the dreamed and the not yet dreamed
I stand here
I breathe here
I give thanks to walk to feel to burn to live
one more day in this body
one more turn in this great dance
Aho. Blessed Be.
We call in all directions great spirit
We call in Earth below and Sky above
We call in the fire within
and the fire before us
May all who enter here be witnessed
May all that is ready to fall away fall
May all that is true remain
The fire is lit
The space is alive
You are seen
You are held
You are welcome
Aho. Blessed Be.
